5-Stage Reverse Osmosis Water System for Home

Among our most popular (and effective) water solutions is the reverse osmosis (RO) water system for home use. This system relies on a 5-stage system to process water, resulting in a superior level of filtration and fresh, safe results. Here’s how it works:

• Stage 1: 5-micron polypropylene sediment pre-filter extracts suspended materials such as sediments, asbestos fiber, rust, insects and other particles. Replace every 6-8 months.
• Stages 2 & 3: Double carbon block filters absorb heavy chlorine from chloramines, THM and dTCE. The double briquettes filter organic matter without the release of carbon as they prepare water to enter the reverse osmosis element. Replace every 12 months.
• Stage 4: High rejection (95-99%) Thin Film Composite (TFC) RO membrane rejects impurities including Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), bacteria and viruses down to 0.0001 micron. Filtered water is stored in the tank; reject water is flushed down the drain.
• Stage 5: In-line GAC filter removes dissolved gases, bad taste and odor from water. This is the final polishing stage before consumption. Replace every 1-2 years.
